Eyelash Extension Glue
The most common question a client asks me regarding eyelash extensions is that “How long do they usually lasts?”. For others, it’s 1 week. Others say 2 to 3 weeks. Truth is it depends on the glue that the salon or the eyelash expert uses. I have tried purchasing a lot of glues online and encountered different complaints. The first glue I purchased was from Sulit.com: it’s quite gooey and sticky, it easily dries up even before the whole eye is finished. Eyelashes dont usually lasts long. It’s around 400php, I forgot from whom I have purchased it, but I am telling you just be careful with the stuff you buy from Sulit.com. The second glue I purchased was from julesmyjewel. I found them in sulit.com.ph as well. Their glue costs around 700php a bottle. The glue dried up after 2 clients and lashes lasted just days!!! I asked for an exchange because their glue is quite costly for the quality it gave me. At first they were hesitant but then they admitted that they unintentionally sent me a wrong glue (i could remember they told me it was a “rejected product”). I shipped the glue as soon as I had the time but when they received it, they told me that the bottle was not theirs and they were hesitant to change my product. I admitted my mistake though I think it’s more of their obligation to send me a new glue. I really won’t purchase from them again.
Out of the eyelash glues I have purchased, the one from Poison Ivy was the best. It’s not very gooey, it doesn’t dry up easily and the lashes lasts long. I found her profile from cosmo.ph and I gotta say they deserve a thumbs up for the affordable and quality products that they have.
Just a few tips on taking care of your eyelash extensions:
1. dont swim with it. chlorine weakens the bond of the glue with the natural lashes
2. avoid using oil based make up remover. the oil also weakens the glue
3. dont scratch your eyes
4. dont pull them out, go to the same salon to have them removed. They use a debonder for the fake eyelash so your natural lashes wont come off as well.
5. no need to put on mascara because extensions make your lashes fuller already.
