The crime rate is rising in the Philippines and those people with evil minds would do anything just to get what they want — even use an old woman to lure victims.
I have read a modus operandi wherein an old woman would approach the victim/s and tell a story about her daughter who has leukemia (or other illness) to get sympathy. Afterwards, the old lady would ask for a blood donation for her daughter who is staying in a certain hospital. If the victim/s agree/s to donate blood, “grandma” would accompany him/her/them to a bus stop (or wherever) so they could all go to the hospital.
But there is no sick daughter. It’s all a trap. The old woman would take you to a vehicle where there are bad men waiting for their next victim.
Here is the picture of the old woman. Remember her face so when you see her, you won’t fall into her trap.
And here’s a story from a person who believed “grandma’s story”. Fortunately, she sensed something was fishy so she got away.
Abie Santos’ story happened way back 2010. But the old lady she met can still be seen roaming around different business districts in Metro Manila. Even the police knows this operation! Then how come they are not doing something about this??? Many people already reported this, but the police officers are turning a blind eye. Come on! You’re supposed to help lessen crimes, not tolerate it!
I don’t think this old lady will be gone anytime soon. So please, just be careful. Do not let this old woman fool you.
